Who Will Forfeit the Harvest

The Lord has such great blessings in store for us, if we remain true and faithful to Him. Our choices can cause that we forfeit all that is store for us if we chose to turn away from Him who can bestow these blessings upon us. In his talk "Who Will Forfeit the Harvest" Elder Marvin J. Ashton talks about four ways we can forfeit God's blessings. It really caused me to ponder and reflect.

I wanted to create a card to go with this message and found a coloring page online from BestColoringPagesforKids. I pulled the image into Microsoft Word and divided a 8-1/2" x 11" size paper into quarters and imported the image and typed the sentiment below. It was then printed on Gina K. Designs 80# Ivory Cardstock with a laser printer and colored with Copic Markers.

I cut down the quarter sheet panel using the Penny Black Swirly Stitched Rectangle. I thought about matting it with a deep orange, but ultimately decided to ink blend the edges with Distress Vintage Photo Ink and love the way it highlighted the pretty stitching. Once that was done a mat was not needed for it to be placed on a landscape ivory cardbase.
