I wanted to create a pretty Easter handout I could give to the three sisters from my church I visit with on a regular basis and decided to use the Spellbinders Glimmer Floral Frames. I also used Penny Black's Exultations Die and Spellbinders Glimmer Faith Sentiments on the card.
The Spellbinders Diamond Floral Frame has some beautiful flower and leaves that I had used previously. For this card I wanted to use the diamond frame around the Easter sentiment. I also used two of the open foil flowers and several leaves and sprigs, foiling with gold on ivory cardstock. Once the foiling was complete they were cut out using the coordinating dies.
The flowers and leaves were colored with Copic Markers. The die "Rejoice" was cut from Paper Accents Brush Gold Mirror Cardstock and adhered above the foiled "He has Risen." The leaves, sprigs were adhered to the top and bottom of the diamond with liquid glue. The flowers were adhered with a small Simon Says Stamp Big Mama Foam Tape for a little dimension.
An Easter messages was printed onto a quarter sheet of ivory cardstock and cut down with a scalloped rectangle die. It was then dry embossed with Stampin' Up's Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, which adds a beautiful linen look to the paper.
When I went to place the diamond focal image on the panel, it just seemed to blend into the page so I took the coordinating die used to cut the diamond and traced it on the back of the brushed gold mirror cardstock and fussy cut it out with scissors. The diamond focal image was adhered to the front with liquid glue. Darice Sticky Back Foam was cut with the diamond frame and adhered to the back of the focal image panel to add dimension. It was adhered to the scalloped rectangle with liquid glue and the Easter Message handout was complete.
I love the way it turned out. My husband asked me to make some for the three families he visits with on a regular basis so he good share the same message with them.
