Magic Iris Holly Wreath Joy to the World

I really like this holly and berry circle die. It comes with little dies for the berries and also dies for the holly leaves. I cut the holly leaves from green glitter cardstock and adding shading with Copic Markers. The berries were cut from red cardstock and then Ranger Glossy Accents were added for shine and dimension.

The die cuts out the center of the holly wreath. I decided to use a dark red cardstock behind the wreath. It was cut down with a stitched rectangle die. I found a sentiment that would fit into the opening and stamped it with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it gold onto the red cardstock. The holly wreath was then glued in place with liquid glue.

The holly wreath leaves a lot of space underneath on the front of an A2 card. I felt the card needed a little gold accents to add a pop of shine. I used an Ellen Hutson Essential Circle Die. It not only cuts a circle, but a thin circle frame as well. It was cut from gold mirror cardstock and adhered in place with liquid glue. I also cut thin strips of gold mirror cardstock and adhered them underneath the holly wreath with liquid glue.

The final embellishment was to cut the poinsettia flower twice from red cardstock. Copic Markers were used to add shadows and depth. The leaves were cut from the same green glitter cardstock and colored with the same Copic Markers. The poinsettia flowers were glued together. The leaves were adhered in the lower left of the card and the flower was adhered in place, overlapping the leaves a little. To create the flower center, there are tiny circle leftover when you cut the berries. I cut them from gold mirror cardstock and adhered five of them for the flower center with liquid glue.

Really like the way this card looks, but it does take some time to die cut all the elements and adhered them together.
