When people face really difficult circumstances, such as losing a loved one, it becomes so hard to face each day. In my church we are taught that we all have to face adversity in this life. We can receive strength from others, but the greatest strength comes from relying on the Savior. With His help we can keep going.
I stamp some Gina K. Designs Whisper cardstock with the My Favorite Things Romantic Script using Simon Says Stamp Barely Beige Ink. This give a very soft background to the card. I stamped the flowers from Altenew directly on the background and colored them with Copic Markers. I colored four different versions of the image, I send to four sweet ladies who are going through tough times. I don't know which I like the best.
The sentiment is from the same flower stamp, it was stamped with VersaFine Clair Nocturne Ink above the flowers.
The panel was cut down using a scalloped rectangle die. I pulled out cardstock from my stash to match the color of the flower and cut a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 panel to adhered to a top folding cardbase. The scalloped focal image panel was adhered in place, letting a little the colored panel to show on the edges.
The final embellishment was to add glossy accents to the berries in the flower arrangement.
