I love Easter. Next to Christmas it is my favorite holiday. I created this card to give to people that my husband and I have been assigned to watch over at church. This beautiful die from Honey Bee Stamps is perfect. On the inside of my card is this message.
Jesus is the Son of God and our Savior. Because of Him, death is conquered, our lives have meaning, and we can live with God again.
May you find peace this Easter as we remember the Son of God and all that he has done, and continues to do for us, individually.

I die cut all the elements in the die set from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock. I wanted a soft white lily, with just a hint of yellow. I used Distress Oxide Inks to add color to just the center of each petal. A darker yellow was used for the stamen in the center of the largest flower. Each layer was adhered together with liquid glue for the bottom two layers and Simon Says Stamp Big Mama Foam Tape to add just a hint of dimension on the top layer.
The ferns and leaves were ink blended with Twisted Citron. It has that pretty yellow green color that works perfectly with the yellow on the flowers.
The sentiment is a Spellbinders Faith Sentiment. It has both the word and the outline dies. It was foiled with gold and then cutout with the coordinating die. Foam Tape was added to the back of the sentiment to add dimension as well.
A pretty decorative rectangle was cut from Neenah cardstock as well. It has some beautiful dotted detail to the edges. I decided to dry emboss it with the Stampin' Up Subtle Embossing Folder, which add a pretty linen look. The flowers and leaves were adhered in place with liquid glue, and foam tape for the largest flower.
When I went to adhered to the focal image panel onto a white top folding cardbase, it got a little lost on the page. So I decided to add a very light dusting of Squeezed Lemonade to the edges and liked that much better.
