Festive Flower Christmas Blessings

Around this time of year I begin making Christmas cards. I make a lot of different cards to try and determine what card I will mass produce to send to friends and family. When I saw this pretty stamp from Concord & 9th in collaboration with Simon Says Stamp for Stamptember 2023 I immediately when and purchased it. I really like the large layering poinsettia.

I stamped several flowers, leaves, and berries using the stamp set and cut them out with the coordinating dies. There aren't dies for the pine branches, so I stamped a few and fussy cut them out. This allowed me to lay the flowers and leaves onto the front of an A2 cardbase to determine where to stamp the pine branches directly to the card front.

The sentiment is from another Stamptember collaboration with Gina K. Designs. I adhered the flowers, leaves, and berries where I liked them and then stamped the sentiment below with the darkest red ink used on the flowers.

I decided I wanted a little more visual interest on the card and cut out a thin rectangle frame using an Ellen Hutson Essential Rectangle Die from gold glitter cardstock and adhered it on the edges of the card.

Nuvo Glitter Drops in Golden Sunset were added to the center of the poinsettia and Nuvo Crystal Drops in Autumn Red were added to the berries.
