Believe in the Miracle

All Christians know of the miracles performed by Christ. There are some who says that miracles no longer happen because he is not here. I believe in a God of miracles, even today. I have seen mighty miracles many times in my life, but there are so many small miracles that happen every day. These private miracles teach us to have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Think of the children who pray to find a lost items which is found, or a blessing of healing, or a prayer for comfort, peace, forgiveness, and hope. Sometimes our prayers of healing may not be answered in the way we hoped and prayed for. In her talk "A God of Miracles" Sister Sydney Reynolds says, "We do not always understand the reasons behind the tests that come with mortality. But our faith has grown, and perhaps your has too, as we have watched loved ones, friends, and people we know only by reputation endure with faith in the Lord the most severe trials. They, too, know the God of miracles and witness in their extremity that whatever the future holds for them, the Lord knows them and loves them and is blessing them. They are sealed to Him and to each other forever, and they are will to submit their wills to His." May we all have such faith in the enduring love of our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ.

This is a very simple card using a beautiful sentiment from Penny Black. It is intended for Christmas, but is appropriate at all times as we seek peace and miracles in our lives. I found this great gold foil and dark gray polka dot paper. A panel was cut using two double stitched rectangles. One cutting the the panel down to be smaller than an A2 cardbase and the smaller to cut a rectangle from the center of the patterned paper where the sentiment could be stamped. A panel of slate gray cardstock was cut to be 1/8" larger than the patterned paper and the sentiment was stamped with VersaMark Ink in the center and gold embossed. The patterned paper was adhered to the slate sentiment panel with dotliner adhesive and then it was adhered to a top folding A2 card. A very easy card to make, but such a beautiful sentiment.
