I have a friend who is going through some tough times. I've always loved this sentiment from My Favorite Things. Sometimes it's nice to have visual you can look at to remind you that you can do hard things.
I kept it really simple. I stamped the sentiment with black in on white cardstock and used a pretty rectangle die to cut it out. I pulled out some black and white polka dot patterned paper and cut it 1/4" smaller than a card front. I matted it with black cardstock from a crisp and clean look. They were adhered to a top folding cardbase with liquid glue.
The sentiment panel was adhered in the middle of the card front by adding foam tape to the back of the sentiment panel.
I love the look of a pop of red with black and white design. I cut a simple flower from a scrap of red cardstock and the leaves from a scrap of green. Silver mirror cardstock was used for the flower center. For the small flowers I used a scrap of purple cardstock. They were adhered to the bottom left of sentiment rectangle with a combination of foam tape and liquid glue. Silver Stickles was used for the center of the small flowers.
