This is another encourage message. It was simple to create the sentiment with the P22 Corinthia and Ariel Fonts in the Silhouette Cameo. It was added it to an embossed red background.

MESSAGE:

This talk by Elder Eyring is about family and the great heritage of hope that is left for our ancestors as we choose to follow the Savior, no matter our challenges.  Some of us have children who have strayed, some of us have no children at all, some may be the first in a family to embrace the truths of the restored gospel, but the message is the same no matter our circumstances.  We all leave a legacy of faith for those in our circle of influence.

For some of us that heritage of hope may be as we go to the temple and perform those saving ordinances for those who have come before.

For those of us with loved ones who no longer embrace the gospel in full, Elder Eyring states: “The Lord has given us all the source of hope as we struggle to help those we love accept their eternal inheritance. He has made promises to us as we keep trying to gather people to Him, even when they resist His invitation to do so. Their resistance saddens Him, but He does not quit, nor should we. He sets the perfect example for us with His persistent love. …

“We can depend on that unfailing desire of the Savior to bring all of Heavenly Father’s spirit children back to their home with Him. Every faithful parent, grandparent, and great-grandparent shares in that desire. Heavenly Father and the Savior are our perfect examples of what we can and must do. They never force righteousness because righteousness must be chosen. They make righteousness discernible to us, and They let us see that its fruits are delicious.”

We may not see our loved ones return to the church in our lifetime, but we can count on the infinite mercy of our Heavenly Father and His Son.  We can leave behind our priceless legacy of faith.  I have seen grandchildren and great-grandchildren find the gospel and discover that someone in their family was a member before them.  We must not give up hope.  In order to do what Elder Eyring tells us “we need the long view.   …After all we can do in faith, the Lord will justify our hopes for greater blessings for our families than we can imagine.  He wants what is best for us, as His children.”

Let us determine that we will remain faithful and leaves a legacy of priceless hope.
