I can't tell you how many paper pads I have, and I hardly ever use them. So, for this card I pulled out some pretty double sided paper from Carta Bella and let it be the inspiration.
I went through my flower stamps to find something that would compliment the paper and decided on Altenew's Anemone Coronaria for the flowers. It was stamped onto white cardstock with Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo Ink. Once it was completely dry the flower was colored with Copic Markers. The leaves that come with this stamp set wasn't similar to the shape of those in the patterned paper. So, I pulled out Altenew's Wallpaper Art. They were stamped on a light green with Gina K. Designs Grass Green Ink and then shadows were added with Copic Marker G46.
The patterned paper was cut down using a stitched rectangle and adhered to a top folding cardbase with dotliner adhesive. I needed a more neutral background for the flowers an the backside of the flower paper has this pretty green patterned paper. A thin strip was cut with the same stitched die and to provide a separation between the two cardstock the edge of a piece of white paper was colored with the green Copic Marker and the green cardstock was adhered on top. To also provide more visual interest between the two paper the green strip was adhered using Simon Says Stamp Big Mama Foam Tape, adding dimension to the card front.
The leaves on the green cardstock were adhered with liquid glue and the one overlapping the flower patterned paper was adhered by putting small squares of foam tape to the leaves. The flower on the green paper was adhered with liquid glue and the top flower was adhered with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape.
A scrap of white cardstock was colored with two Copic Markers to create an ombre look and then the sentiment was stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed white. It was cut into a flag banner nd adhered to the front of the card with both liquid glue and foam tape.
The final embellishment was to add a little Bright Gold Crystal Drops to the flower centers.
