Three Pretty Poppies Happy Birthday

I had cut a lot of poppies for my previous card and had several left over. I decided to use three of them for another card.

An oval frame was cut from white cardstock and foam strips were added to the back for dimension. I recently purchased the Picket Fence Garden Lattice die and decided to used it for the background on this card. It was cut from a heavy weight white cardstock. I laid the oval on top of the lattice background to determine where to add a little light turquoise ink blending and adhered the lattice background to the card front with liquid glue. The backing paper removed from the foam strips and the oval was adhered in place.

The flowers were arranged in the center of the oval. Liquid glue was added to the back of the stems, the ends were tucked into the bottom of the oval. Foam tape was also added to the back of the flowers.

The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark Ink onto a scrape of black cardstock and then cut out using the coordinating die, it was cut three more times from black cardstock and the layers were adhered with liquid glue and then adhered in place in the oval over the stems.
