I love the Honey Bee Stamps Lovely Layers Anemone die. It creates an absolutely gorgeous flower, especially when I use my favorite color of red.
The layers were cut from red cardstock and then ink blended in the centers and some of the tips to add dimension. The center of the flower was cut from slate cardstock and ink blended with different depth of color grays inks. The layers of the flowers were adhered together with low loft foam tape.
A panel of white cardstock was cut using the Papertrey Ink Tin Stitched Rectangle. I wanted to make it a frame, so a stitched rectangle die was used to cut out the center. The edges were cut down so that it was 1/4" smaller than an A2 cardbase. Foam tape was added to the back. It was laid onto the cardbase to determine where to stamp the sentiment and then adhered in place by removing the backing paper on the foam tape.
The flower and leaves were adhered in place with a combination liquid glue and foam tape.
