Thank You for Being so Thoughtful

This is the last feminine card I made for Meals on Wheels, and it is probably my least favorite. I like bright and bold colors, and this purple is pretty muted.

I ink blended some white cardstock with Distress Oxide Inks and then cut the layers. I used a mini blending brush to add shadows to the edges of the petals and adhered them all together with liquid glue. The leaves were ink blended with two different Distress Oxide Greens.

I cut a panel of white cardstock using the My favorite Things Stitched Tag Corner Rectangle. It flower and leaves were laid in place to determine where to stamp the sentiment and then adhered in place with liquid glue.

To give a little more color to the card I used the next largest corner rectangle and ink blended the edges with the darker purple ink used on the flower. The focal image panel was adhered in place with dotliner adhesive.

The front of a side fold A2 cardbase was dry embossed using the Cuttlebug Oxford Embossing Folder. The focal image panels were then adhered in place with liquid glue, since the surface wasn't smooth liquid glue works best.

I finally decided to add tag corners to the cardbase and liked the way that looked much better. To give a little more visual interest Ranger Gold Stickles was added to the flower center and a few droplets were added around the flower.
