This is the last card design that I created for the box set of cards to be auctioned by the youth of our church to earn funds for girls and boys camps.
For the warm color set of cards I pulled out scraps of yellow, red, and orange cardstocks and cut the base of each flower. The Top outline layers were cut from gold mirror cardstock. The two layers were adhered together with liquid glue.
The leaves were cut from scraps of green cardstock for the base and told mirror for the outline. They two were adhered together with liquid glue.
The sentiment was cut from gold mirror cardstock and two more times from heavy weight white. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue.
A panel of white cardstock was cut using the Penny Black Zig Zag Stakers Die. The flowers and leaves, along with the die cut sentiment were laid on the panel to determine were to stamp the secondary greeting. Once that sentiment was stamped the die cut sentiment and tulip were adhered to the card with liquid glue. The orange flower was adhered with low loft foam tape. The top flower was adhered with both low and regular loft foam tape to keep the level even.
The focal image panel was adhered to a top folding cardbase with liquid glue and the card was done.
