Thank You Bishop

In my church the religious leaders are unpaid ministers who serve for five to seven year usually. Also, the congregation is determined by area at one time we had about 500 people in our congregation, but that is hard to ensure that everyone has a calling that helps them feel needed and difficult to ensure that each individual can be watched over and supported. Over the years I've had a lot of different bishops, Bishop Kreutz is probably the best I've ever had. He is being released this coming Sunday. I wanted to send him a thank you for all the hours of service he has give over the years. I decided on a clean and simple design.

I die cut the letters for "Thanks" from five different blue cardstock and again from sticky back foam and adhered the two together by removing the protective paper. I lined them up on the grid map and then held them together with a strip of post-it tape. I placed them on the card front to determine where to tamp the secondary sentiment. Once the ink was dry the card front was dry embossed using the Fun Stampers Journey Pretty Plaid folder.

The die cut letters were adhered with liquid glue and the card was done.
