Sunflower Happiness on Your Birthday

I had a couple of leftover flowers from my previous card and decided to create a sunflower focal image. The flower and leaves had been stamped with a light gray ink, so it almost looks like no line coloring. Once the Copic coloring was complete the image was cutout using the coordinating die.

Since I was just using one flower I decided to create a smaller eyelet rectangle. The flower was laid in place to determine where to stamp the sentiment. It was then adhered in place with foam tape.

A larger eyelet rectangle was cut from scraps of yellow cardstock. The white focal image panel was adhered in place with foam tape. The two rectangles were adhered to a top folding A2 top folding cardbase. Nuvo Copper Penny Crystal Drops were added to the flower center.

A few yellow sequins were scattered around the flower and the card was done.
