Soft White Magnolias Birthday Wishes

When I get a new stamp I like to use it several times to make sure I am getting my money's worth in the purchase.

This time I stamped the Thankful Magnolia Die with Memento London Fog ink and colored it with warm gray Copic Markers, keepting the flowers a soft white. The leaves were colors a light green. The image was then stamped again with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed gold and then cutout with the coordinating die.

A pink panel was cut using the Penny Black All-in-One Oval die. This die has beautiful circle details on the scallopes. The sentiment was stamped below the oval opening with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed gold. The panel was then adhered to a top folding cardbase with foam tape. Originally I adhered to the flowers into the white opening with foam tape, but I didnt like the way it looked. So I tucked strips of paper under the scallops on the die and I ink blended the edges to add some visual interest and dimension. This looked much better. Put it still didn't have enough constrast for the white flowers to pop on the white oval opening, so I carefully removed the flower die cut using Un-Du Adhesive remover. The die also cuts a small oval frame with the same beautiful stitched details. I adhered directly to the oval opening with liquid glue. It also has a small center oval and it was adhered in place with foam tape. The flower die cut was adhered in the center of the oval opening with liquid glue. This looked much better.

I decided to scatter a few gold confetti pieces around the flowers, but it still was lacking visual interest. The center of the detailed scalloped has a small dot. I decided to pull out some gold glitter stickles and add a small dot to each of the circles. Finally I was happy with the way it turned out.
