Small Party Hat Background Happiest of Birthdays

I have other party hat dies, but what I really love about this new one from Papertrey Ink is that it comes in three different sizes. This card uses the smalled hat.

I pulled out some patterned paper pads from My Favorite Things and cut the hats from different paper. I used Simon Says Stamp glitter cardstock for the fringe and bobble, matching it with the color of the paper used on the hat.

The sentiment was stamped on white cardstock and then cut out using the coordinating die. A panel of white cardstock was cut down using a stitched rectangle die and then embossed with the Spellbinder's Dazzling Dots folder. The sentiment was adhered in the center with foam squares and then the party hats were arranged around the sentiment, adhering them in place with foam sqaures as well. Anything that was handing over the edges of the panel were cut off and then the panel was adhered to a top folding cardbase.

I love the way this card turned out.
