Silhouette Golfer Let’s Par-Tee!

I have had this golfer silhouette die for years and never used it. I decided to pull it out and create a card. When I looked online I only saw one example of a card. They had the golfer in a larger circle that was off the edges and a lot of smaller circles around it. I decided to use that a a general them, but rather than a lot of smaller circles around the image I used a polka dot die as the background, hopefully simulating a lot of different golf balls. It was adhered to the front of a white cardbase with liquid adhesive.

I decided to create scene with the silhouette. I pulled out a circle die that was large enough for the silhouette and cut it from a light blue cardstock. The edges were ink blended with a light blue ink to add some visual interest and dimension. I cut another circle from green cardstock and did some off the edge die cutting with a grass die so that it would have the same curve as the blue circle. It also was ink blended with a darker green ink. The grass adhered to the bottom of the blue circle, but glue was not added to the very top so that the silhouette could be tucked into the grass.

Two coulds were cut from white cardstock and laid in place with the silhouette to determine where to stamp the sentiment, which came from an Art Impressions stamp set. Once the sentiment was stamped everything was adhered in place with liquid glue. Foam tape was added to the back of the blue circle, which adhered hanging off the edge of the cardbase. The overhang was cut off with scissors and the card was done.
