Please see my previous card for a little more detail about this card. This is the second card I made by cutting the Memory Box Rose Bouquet image in half. This time I decided to have a landscape layout for the card. This portion of the image is smaller and so I needed to fill it out by adding some additional flowers and leaves.
I had cut down a panel of white cardstock with a stitched rectangle to 3 3/4" x 5" and arranged the bouquet and additional flowers way I liked it I used Glad Press 'n Seal to pick up the elements so that I could turn the arrangement over and add Simon Says Stamp Big Mama Foam Tape to the back. I laid the image onto the stitched rectangle to determined what size of sentiment I would need and settled on an old one from C.C. Designs and Amy R. I stamped it with Gina K. Designs Amalgam Ink for a dark, crisp sentiment. When the sentiment was dry I ran the stitched rectangle through the Big Shot using the Stampin' Up Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder to add some texture and visual interest behind the bouquet. I matted the focal image panel with black cardstock and added Darice Stick Back Foam to the back and then adhered it to a side folding cardbase with liquid glue.
The final embellishments were to add Ranger Gold Stickles to the center of the purple flower, Nuvo Crystal Drops in Ebony Black to the center of the yellow flower, and Ranger Glossy Accents to the berries.
This morning I added some gold confetti around the flowers. Let me know which you like best.
