Red Pickup Best Fishes for a Happy Birthday

I really like this image for the men who love to fish in my life. I stamped it was Memento Toffee Crunch Ink and colored it with Copic Markers. The the trees and bushes the leaves were colored by stippling or dotting the leaves in place. It really makes for a realistic look.

When the coloring was complete the image was cut down with a stitched rectangle die and low loft foam tape was added to the back. A cardbase was made from Kraft cardstock, but I didn't like the way the image looked when placed on the front, so I pulled out a basketweave embossing folder and used it on the card front. Brown ink was used to distress the edges and the focal image was adhered in place by removing the backing paper on the foam.

The sentiment was stamped with brown in on a scrap of Kraft cardstock and cut down with a sentiment die. Foam tape was added to the back and it was adhered in place on the lower right of the card.
