Purple Cistus Time to Celebrate

Cistus flowers come in several different colors. I chose to create purple for this card.

I started with white cardstock and cut all the layers of the flowers and leaves. To create the different depths of color I used three different purple and green inks, and two yellow inks for the flower centers. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue.

To add visual interest behind the flowers a panel of white cardstock was debossed with the pretty Altenew Dotted Swirls Debossing Die. It was matted with green cardstock and then adhered to a top folding card base. The flowers and leaves were adhered with a combination of liquid glue and foam squares. Yellow crystal drops were added to the stamen on the flower centers and a few purple sequins were scattered around the flower arrangement and the card was done.
