Pretty Poppies Happy Birthday

I had three flowers left over and had to use them of course. I cut an oval from white cardstock and dry embossed it with a mosaic pattern.
As with the other cards, the flowers were cut from a red cardstock and the centers were ink blended with a dark red to add depth and dimension. The flowers centers are black cardstock. I adhered the three flowers to the bottom of the oval.
The sentiment is a new one from Memory Box. I cut it four times from black cardstock, adhered them together with liquid glue, and adhered it above the flowers.
I liked the card, but it just needed something at the top, so I created two more flowers and adhered them at the top. I felt it needed some leaves, since I didn't use the stems, so I googled poppies and found a flower shaped die that would compliment the flowers and cut them from three cardstock and tucked the leaves under the flowers.
Foam tape was added to the back of the oval. A rectangle of black cardstock was cut using a stitched rectangle die. It was adhered to the front of a white A2 cardbase with dotliner adhesive. The backing paper was removed from the foam tape and the oval was adhered in the center of the black rectangle and the card was done.
I added a little sparkle to the bottom center of each flower with a Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen. The card is striking. I love the look of black, white, and red.
