Plaid Paper Many Thanks for All You Do

I recently saw Gina K. use a triangle die and two different kinds of paper to create a card. I don't have a triangle die, but I have a square and can cut it into triangle with a paper trimmer. I also only used one kind of patterned paper for this card.

Since I was making a masculine thank you card I decided to use a plaid paper for the corners of this design. I added foam to the back of the triangle for dimension on the card and adhered them with liquid glue to the front of a top folding A2 cardbase. I decided to use a large greeting from Gina K. and stamped it with navy ink so that it would be between the two triangles of plaid paper. To add some additional visual interest I used the tree border from Stampin' Up's Noble Deer and stamped it on either side of the sentiment. It wasn't quite the color of green that was in the plaid paper, so I used Copic Markers to make it blend a little better.

This is a really clean and simple card and took hardly any time to create.
