Pink Graceful Peony Happy Birthday

I have several of the Memory Box Peony dies and love them all. This time I purchased the Peony Buds to add to an arrangement.

The flowers were cut from pink cardstock and leaves from a sage green. Each layers were ink blended with different hues of pink ink from Simon Says Stamp. The flower stamen were cut from gold mirror cardstock.

An oval frame was cut from white cardstock and foam strips were added to the back. When I am using white on white I liked to add visual interest with embossing. The front of an A2 cardbase was embossed with basketweave folder and the oval frame was then adhered in place by removing the backing paper on the foam strips and also adding some liquid glue to allow for a little wiggle time to place it perfectly.

The flower and buds were adhered with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape.

The sentiment had been previously hot foiled and fit perfectly in the open space in the lower left of the oval. It was adhered with thin strips of foam.

Gold confetti was scattered around the flowers and the card was done.
