I was reorganizing my patterned papers in my craft room, trying to make room for my light box for taking pictures and ran across this patterned paper just larger than an A2 card front. I cut is down with a stitched rectangle die and adhered it to a top folding ivory cardbase with dotliner adhesive.
It needed some visual interest and I decided to use both the Altenew Layered Cupcake stamp and die and the Simon Says Stamp Balloon Bouquet on the card. I stamped the cupcake with a light brown ink and colored it with Copic Markers. It was then stamped again with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed gold. The cupcake was aslo cut from Darice Sticky Back Foam and the two were adhered together by removing the backing paper.
The balloon bouquet was cut from both ivory and gold mirror cardstock. The center of the balloons were colored with Copic Markers. They were glued in place with liquid glue to be coming out of the top of the cupcake. The cupcake was adhered on a slight angle over the strings of the balloon with liquid glue.
A quick and easy card. I love the pop of red again the ivory gold foiled word background.
