There is another young man at church having a birthday in June. He is not into sports but loves music. I pulled out an older stamp set from Honey Bee Stamps call Music Speaks. I selected several images and stamped them with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them Copic Markers. When the coloring was complete the images were cut out with the coordinating dies. Ranger Glossy Accents were added to the brass and metal accents on the instuments.
I arranged the elements the way I liked them and then added Glad Press 'n Seal over the top to keep them together. Low loft foam tape was added to the back, making sure there wasn't any foam tape where the images would overlap.
The sentiment is from the My Favorite Things Jungle Vibes stamp set. It was stamped with VersaMark Ink onto red cardstock and heat embossed white. It was cut down with a sentiment label die.
A panel of white cardstock was cut out with a stitched rectangle die. It was stamped with the My Favorite Things BG Musical Notes Background in Simon Says Stamp Fog Ink. Another quarter sheet of cardstock was cut to be 1/8" larger than the musical background. The edges were colored with a red Copic Marker that was used to color the keyboard. The two panel were adhered together with dotliner adhesive.
The backing paper was removed from the images. Liquid glue was added to the foam tape to give a little wiggle room when placing the images. The Press 'n Seal with the images was turned over, the elements were adhered in place, and the Press 'n Seal was carefully removed.
The panel was adhered a side folding A2 cardbase. Sakura Metallic Gelly Roll Pens in gold and silver were added as accents on the musical instruments.
