Mondo Peony Have a Blessed Day

cardtheraphy51

These are two other flowers that are part of the Ellen Hutson's Mondo Peony. They were stamped with a light ink, colored with Copic Markers, and then stamped again with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed gold. The images were cut out using the coordinating dies.

I had used the Lawn Fawn Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die on another card and this card uses the negative opening leftover. Foam tape was added to the edges to add some dimension. The front of the cardbase was dry embossed with a linen look embossing folder and then ink blended with a light blue ink. The frame was then adhered in place by removing the backing on the foam tape.

The flowers and leaves were adhered in place with a combination of foam tape and liquid glue. The sentiment had been previously hot foiled and was adhered over the flower. Gold confetti was scattered around the images.
