Modified Mini Slimline Spring Bouquet

I recently received in the mail the new Simon Says Stamp Spring Bouquets. This is a lovely stamp with two very large floral arrangements that are perfect slimline and mini slimline cards. For this first card I used a modified mini slimline that measured 7" x 3 1/2" and really like the way it turned out. Usually I like to add some embossed detail on a clean and simple card, but I don't have any that are 7" wide, but it still turned out pretty.

I stamped the bouquet onto Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Fog Ink and left the stamp in the MISTI. It was colored with light hued Copic Markers. Once the color was completed it was placed in the MISTI again and stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed gold and then cut with the coordinating die.

A cardbase was created with Gina K. Designs 120# White Cardstock 7" x 7" and scored at 3 1/2". The sentiment is from the stamp set which was stamped in the lower right corner and heat embossed as well. The flower bouquet was adhered by adding sticky back foam for dimension. As you can see the length of the card still overhangs the cardbase just a little. I made my own slimline envelope so that it would fit, even with the overhang.
