These pretty daisies come with stems, but I didn't want to use them on this card. Three flower layers were cut from white cardstock and then lightly ink blended in the center with a pale pink ink. The centers were cut from yellow cardstock and the leaves from green. They too were ink blended to add dimension and depth.
When I cut the swirly rectangle for my previous card I found a smaller rectangle in the packet and decided to use it on this card. The flowers and leaves were adhered in place with foam squares and then the sentiment was stamped in the open area in the upper right of the card with a light grey ink, keeping the soft feel of the flowers.
I decided to use the leftover pink ink on the blending brush on the edges of the cardbase. The focal image rectangle was adhered in place with foam tape. Dandelion Yellow Nuvo Crystal Drops were added to the flower centers and the card was done.
