Layered Cupcake – Life is Better with Cupcakes

This is an old stamp set from Altenew. It makes an easy masculine birthday card. I stamped it with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink for the outline and then stamped the layers three with different blue and brown inks.

A panel of blue cardstock was cut using a confetti die. All the pieces of the die remained in place. The edges were ink blended to add some dimension. 6" double-sided tape was added to the back to keep the pieces in place and it was then adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase.

A long oval was cut from white cardstock and the cupcake was laid in place to determine where to stamp the sentiment. The cupcake was adhered with foam tape and the oval focal point was adhered in place with low loft foam tape.
