Kindness Matters

I recently purchased this great Kindness Matters die and wanted to use it on a card. I decided to pair it with a layered rose flurries 3D die from Altenew. I first tried ink blending the layers, but didn't like the combination of colors, so I pulled out Copic Markers and colored the layers, which were adhered together with liquid glue.

The sentiment was cut from white cardstock, it was traced around onto a scrap of white cardstock and cut out slightly smaller with scissors and colored with the same Copic Markers in a ombre from dark to light and glued to the back of the die cut sentiment. The die was also traced on sticky back foam which was adhered to the back of the sentiment. The flower was adhered to the top of the sentiment and a strip of foam tape was added to the back. A rectangle of white cardstock was cut using a stitched rectangle. The sentiment and flower were laid in place and the leaves were adhered with liquid glue and then the flower and sentiment were adhered in place with the same glue.

The front of a top folding A2 cardbase was dry embossed with the Cuttlebug Oxford Embossing Folder and the focal image rectangle was adhered to the front with liquid glue.
