The last Tuesday of every month is customer appreciation day at our local craft store where everything is 25% off. I purchased this Hero Arts Watering Can because I thought it would great with some Hero Arts flower dies I had at home. I like the way it turned out.
The watering can die cuts a slit where you can insert the stems of the leaves when creating your bouquet. I used Copic Markers to color all the flowers, leaves, and watering can and then arranged the florals in the watering can to create a pretty bouquet.
A scalloped oval was cut from ivory cardstock. Sentiment was stamped to be underneath the watering can and then it was dry embossed with the Darice Basketweave Embossing Folder. The oval was adhered to a panel of woodgrain paper, which was adhered to a top folding ivory cardbase. Simon Says Stamp Big Mama Foam Tape was added to the back of the watering can and flowers and then adhered to the embossed and stamped oval.
The final embellishment was to to add some Nuvo Crystal Drops to the center of the some of the flowers, and the strips on the watering can.
