Immense Birthday Hug

I have a crafty friend who uses Penny Black's Immense Hug die in a lot of different cards. I liked them so much that I purchased the die for myself.

I wanted to keep the card clean and simple so I cut the word from gray cardstock. I decided to place a die cut flower in the "U" of the word. I die cut one of the wildflowers from Honey Bee Stamps and ink blended it with green, pink, and yellow inks. The edges of the petals were shaped with my finger to provide some dimension and the layers were adhered together with liquid glue.

I decided to add some visual interest behind the word and embossed the front of a horizontal A2 cardbase with Spellbinders Dazzling Dots Embossing Folder.

The flower was laid into the "U" of the word and adhered with liquid glue. The immense hug die was also cut from pink sticky back foam and the two were adhered together by removing the backing paper. It was then adhered to the front of the cardbase with liquid glue.

A secondary sentiment was stamped with VersaMark Ink on a scrap of ink blended pink cardstock and heat embossed white. It was cut down using a sentiment label die. Foam was added to the back and adhered in place with liquid glue.
