I Am So Sorry

There is a woman who works out at the same small community center gym that I do. I really like her, but she can have an abrasive attitude. She has made some rude comments to me in the past and I've ignored them and recognized that is just who she is. But, one day when I was expressing concern that she wasn't feeling well she jumped all over me for asking her personal questions around other people, when she raised the subject to begin with. I was not very Christlike and responded harshly back that I was so sorry I cared about how she was feeling. She hasn't been back at the same time since then. It has bothered me for more than a week and I decided I needed to apologize. There is never any excuse for being unkind, no matter how provoked.

These flowers are from the Gina K. Designs Time to Coast Card Kit. When I am stamping layered images and usually stamp enough for a couple of cards. I like the combination of blue and yellow. They are so bright and happy.

I decided to use some scalloped dies on this card. I cut an oval from white cardstock and adhered the flowers and leaves in place with liquid glue, with the top flower being adhered with a little foam tape for dimension. I then stamped the sentiment around the focal images. A scalloped rectangle was cut from blue cardstock matching the blue of the flowers. It was adhered to a top folding white cardbase and the foam image rectangle was adhered in place with liquid glue.

I scattered a few blue droplets around the flowers and the card was done.
