My granddaughter turns 16 next week. She is an animal lover and has a cat, dog, rabbit, and parakeet. When I saw these cute new images from Lili of the Valley I thought they would made the perfect card for Rory. Maybe she'll want a monkey now.
This are digital images. I pulled them into the Silhouette Cameo Software to print them with a laser printer, which is Copic friendly. I also added registration marks and cut marks to the images, so the software could do the fussy cutting for me after I colored them with Copic Markers.
A panel of white cardstock was cut with a stitched rectangle. The images were laid in place to determine where to place the sentiments. The first was the Honey Bee Stamps Hooray die and shadow. The word was cut from a scrap of navy cardstock and the shadow from orange cardstock, matching some of the colors used on the images for her card. The secondary sentiment was stamped with Gina K. Designs Blue Denim Ink and then the panel was dry embossed with the Cuttlebug Oxford Embossing Folder. The panel was adhered to a side folding A2 cardbase with liquid glue. The images and sentiment were adhered with the same glue. The number 16 was cut from navy cardstock and adhered to the center cupcake wrapper.
For final embellishments Spectrum Noir Spark Pen was used on the stars and balloon. Ranger Glossy Accents were added to the balloon, stars, numbers, and the sprinkles on the cupcake.
