Hooray for Rory

cardtheraphy51

My granddaughter loves animals. She has a cat named Jerry and I colored this image to look like him. Her favorite colors are indigo and lavender, so those are the colors I used for the background and circle.

I stamped the cat image with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it with Copic markers. It was cut down with a circle die.

A scalloped circle frame was cut from white cardstock and colored with blue and lavender markers. Acetate was added to the back and then Waffle Flower 1/8" foam strips were added to the back to create the well. Blue and purple seed beads were added to the shaker and the cat panel was added to the back by removing the backing paper on the foam strips.

The focal image circle was added to a dark blue cardbase. The word "hooray" was colored with blue and purple and cut three more times from white cardstock, adhering the layers together with liquid glue. It was adhered below the focal image.
