Holographic Candles Birthday Wishes

I had used some holographic cardstock on a few previous cards and thought it would be fun to create some candles that sparkled.
I pulled out the Paper Rose Birthday Candles die because the candles have diagonal strip openings. I cut thin strips of red cardstock and adhered it behind the candles with dotliner adhesive.
I cut a panel of navy blue cardstock using the Gina Marie Designs Chain Rectangle die, which leaves little round openings along the edge. I backed this panel with a piece of red cardstock, so it would peek out of those openings. Foam Tape was added to the back of the panel and it was adhered to a top folding cardbase.
The sentiment was cut once from holographic cardstock and three more times from a heavy weight white cardstock. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue. The sentiment was laid on the navy blue rectangle to determine where to adhere the candles. Black foam strips were added to the back of the candles and they were adhered in place.
