I had the Altenew Bunch of Balloons 3D Embossing Folder sitting on my desk. I was trying to see what sandwiches I needed to run some of my embossing folders through the Anna Griffin Empress Machine, so I had a quarter sheet panel that had been cut down with a stitched rectangle die that had been embossed with this folder sitting on my desk. I decided to pair it with the balloon dies from Concord & 9th, along with a large sentiment from the stamp set.
I cut three balloons and ink blended them in a lovely aqua blue. The large sentiment was stamped with darkest blue ink in the set. It was cut out using the coordinating die. On a scrap of cardstock the smaller sentiment was stamped with the same ink and cut out using the Pink & Main Sentiment Label Die. It was adhered in the center of the larger "High Five" sentiment with low loft foam tape.
Metallic gold thread was added to the balloons for strings. They were adhered to the embossed panel with liquid glue and the strings were pulled to the back of the panel and held in place with Scotch Tape. A panel of Tranquil Teal Cardstock was cut just larger than the embossed panel and adhered in place with liquid glue. It was then adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase.
The sentiment was then adhered in place with low loft foam tape. I decided to add some visual interest to the balloon with Ranger Gold Stickles. I also used the stickles to add some visual interest to the bottom of each letters in the "High Five" sentiment and the card was done.
