Have a Lovely Birthday Shaker

I stamped My Favorite Things Romantic Script onto a quarter sheet of Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it clear. I then tapped Ken Oliver Color Burst Watercolor powder in two colors of purple and one of pink onto the panel and spritzed it liberally with water to get the colors to blend together and the panel was set aside to dry.

I die cut Pretty Pink Posh Scalloped Circle Die from white cardstock and then used a Hero Arts Infinity Circle Die to cutout a circle of the same size from the watercolored background. I decided to turn the card into a shaker. I adhered the watercolor panel onto a top folding cardbase and stamped the sentiment. I then cut the scalloped circle four more times. I adhered four layers together with liquid glue and then added a circle of acetate to the top of the stack and then added an additional scalloped circle to create the shaper. I put the sequin mix into the center of the circle and added liquid glue to the back of the scalloped circle and adhered it in place and the card was done.
