There is a lovely young lady at church who is turning seventeen on Friday. Her favorite color is coral. She has beautiful long dark hair and olive skin given to her by her mother who is from the Dominican Republic.
I pulled the image into the Silhouette Cameo software and offset the image .35" to add a small cut border. The image was printed using registration marks on a Laser Printer. I used Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock because it is the perfect weight for my printer. It was then run through the Silhouette Cameo to cut out the image.
I placed the image onto a window to trace around the dress so that it could be stamped with small flowers from the Altenew Ditsy Prints in coral. Before stamping it was ink blended with Distress Oxide Kitsch Flamingo Ink.
A scalloped rectangle was cut from white cardstock. The image was laid in place to determine where to stamp the sentiment with an ombre of Kitsch Flaming and Ripe Persimmon Inks. Foam tape was added to the back of the image. A little light gray Copic Markers were added below her show to ground the image, which was then adhered in place by removing the backing paper on the foam tape.
A larger scalloped rectangle was cut and the edges were colored peach by running the Kitsch Flamingo Ink over the edges of the panel. It was adhered to a top folding A2 cardbase with dotliner adhesive. Foam Tape was added to the back of the focal image panel and it was adhered to the larger peach scalloped rectangle by removing the backing paper.
The final embellishment was to scatter Studio Katia Iridescent Snow Crystals around the focal image.
