This die was created by Papertrey Ink for Father's Day and that is what the coordinating sentiments are all about, but it makes a great masculine birthday card as well, you just have to look through you sentiment to find one that fits in the center of the ball cap.
The cap has two layers the brim and the cap. I cut them from two different shades of the same color. Shading was added with darker coordinating inks. The two layers were adhered together with a thin line of liquid glue. The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed white on the blue ball cap.
A panel of ivory cardstock was cut down with a stitched rectangle die and then dry embossed with the Pink & Main Birthday Wishes Embossing Folder. It was adhered to a top folding Kraft cardbase. Before adhering the panel to the cardbase the edges were ink blended with a brown ink.
The orange and brown ball cap was adhered directly to the embossed panel with liquid glue. The green ball cap was adhered with a lower loft foam tape and the the blue ball cap with 3M 1/2" Foam Tape.
