This stamp uses another cut cat image from Penny Black. It was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored with Copic Markers. Once coloring was done it was fussy cut out with scissors.
To set off the focal image a hexagon was cut from white cardstock. This die cuts the hexagon and leaves the same pattern on the bottom of the panel. The panel was matted with black cardstock and adhered to a top folding cardbase with dotliner adhesive. To have a clean edge on the bottom pattern a strip of black cardstock was added above the stitching.
Foam tape was added to the back of the hexagon, which was adhered to the panel by removing the backing on the foam tape. The focal image was adhered in place with a combination of liquid glue and foam tape.
The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark Ink on a scrap of black cardstock and heat embossed white. It was cut down with a sentiment label die and adhered below the hexagon with foam tape.
