Happy Birthday Red Layered Coneflowers

This is another layered die from Honey Bee Stamps. The layers were cut from white cardstock and this time Gina K. Designs inks were used to color the petals and leaves. Details were added to them with colored pencils. The layers were adhered together with liquid glue.

I like a clean and simple design, but I also like to add visual interest to the background of an image. I cut a panel of cardstock using a Little B Frame and adhered it to the front of a side folding a2 cardbase with dotliner adhesive. The leaves and flowers were adhered in place with liquid glue.

I pulled out a hot foiled sentiment. I keep a stash of them on hand to use on cards. It was adhered in place with foam tape.

The last embellishment was to accentuate the center of the flowers with Dark Walnut Nuvo Crystal Drops.
