My husband asked me to create a birthday card for a young man from church who was turning 15. Owen's favorite color is black, so I pulled out some black and ivory patterned paper and cutout the sentiment and balloons from the Concord & 9th Perfect Pairings. I also cut both dies from black sticky back foam. The foam was added to the back of the sentiment die, which was adhered in place on the left of an ivory A2 cardbase with liquid glue.
The cluster of balloons have both open and solid images. The black outline of the balloons was adhered in place to the right of the sentiment with liquid glue. The balloon die was also used to cut striped and polka dot patterned paper. The black sticky back foam was added to balloon openings. The backing paper was removed and the patterned paper balloons were scattered throughout the die, adhering them in place with liquid glue.
This was a quick and easy card to made, but it really looks great
