My daughter-in-law hates getting older and insists she is still twenty-nine whenever asked about what birthday this is for her. I tried to find a sentiment that would say "Happy 29th, Again" but couldn't find anything, so I just wrote it inside.
From the day I first met her she love quirky shoes and I knew she would love this shoe from Honey Bee Stamps. Her favorite colors are magenta and black, so that is the color scheme I used for the flowers, leaves, and shoe; adding in a little dark purple, green, and off white.
A panel of grey cardstock was cut down using a stitched rectangle die and the edges were ink blended for some visual interest and depth. It was adhered to a black top folding cardbase. The shoe and flowers were adhered in place with foam tape and liquid glue.
The sentiment had been previously hot foiled and was adhered with liquid glue and foam tape. A few black sequins were scattered around the arrangement.
