Graceful Flowers Enjoy – It’s Your Day

I purchased the August Simon Says Stamp card kit, mainly because it had this beautiful flower stamp, and I love creating stamps with big beautiful flower sprays.

For this card I stamped the image with a light ink and then colored it with Copic Markers. When the coloring was complete I stamped it again with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed it gold. I cut out the image with the coordinating die.

This is a huge flower arrangement. I'd had seen where someone else cut the leaves off the edges of the flowers and adhered them so that it could fit an A2 cardbase. I decided to do the same.

I recently purchased Penny Black's Hexagon Frames die. I cut it from gold mirror cardstock. I dry embossed the front of an A2 cardbase with Simon Says Stamp's Dibble Tile 3D Embossing Folder and adhered the frame in place with liquid glue. I arranged the flowers and leaves around the frame and adhered them in place with liquid glue and foam squares.

I cut the word "enjoy" from gold mirror cardstock and four more times from white. I cut off the white die cuts where they would overlap the leaves so that it would remain flush. It was adhered together and in place on the card front with liquid glue.

The secondary sentiment was stamped with VersaMark Ink on a scrap of white cardstock and heat embossed gold. It was cut down with a sentiment label die and adhered over the bottom of the sentiment, adding four small pieces of cardstock in the center of the phrase so it would be level and supported over the tails of the letters.
