Graceful Butterflies Time to Celebrate

This card uses the emboss and cut Graceful Butterflies folder. All images were cut and then embossed. They were then ink blended to add dimension and color.

A panel of white cardstock was cut down with a stitched rectangle die and embossed with the Simon Says Stamp Pepperberry embossing folder. It was matted with black cardstock and adhered to a top folding card base.

The butterfly body was colored with Copic Markers. Foam squares were added to the wings of the butterflies and they were scattered around the embossed background.

I didn't like the way they looked. They were kind of blah. I had the gold metallic gelly roll pen sitting on my desk from a previous card and decided to color all the raised areas of the butterflies. I really like the way it turned out.

The sentiment had been previously hot foiled and was adhered with low loft foam tape.

Small gold butterflies were punched out and adhered with liquid glue. Black gems were added for the butterfly bodies.
