Garden Pick Happy Birthday Lovely Lady

This card uses the leftover panel from my previous card where I had cut out a circle from this You Matter panel. The panel had been stamped onto a quarter sheet of Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock and heat it embossed clear. Turquoise, purple, and green Ken Oliver Color Burst powders were tapped around the panel and spritzed heavily with water and set it aside to dry. Once the background was dry I assembled the previous card.

For this card I decided to cut down the panel using a Memory Box Matinee Rectangle die. I love the corners this die has. I cut another rectangle from sticky back foam and added it to the back of the watercolor panel. It was laid onto a top folding cardbase to determine where to stamp the sentiment. I kept it in place white stamping with some low tack tape.

I pulled out the same Ken Oliver Color Burst powders used on the background panel to color some Bristol Smooth Cardstock to cut out some Altenew 3D Garden Pick Flowers and leaves. To do this I added the powder to a pallet, added water, and used a brush to adhere the color to the cardstock, varying the depth of color for the different layers of the flowers and leaves, which were adhered around the circle opening with liquid glue and a little foam tape.
