I've made a couple of cards previously with this stamp set, but I recently received the coordinating die and decided to make another card. This time I used a landscape design.
The flower and butterfly images were stamped onto Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and then colored with Copic Markers, making one of the flowers a little darker pink than the other. When the coloring was complete the images were die cut with the coordinating dies.
A rectangle of white cardstock was cut using a stitched rectangle. The sentiment was stamped in the lower right corner with VersaFine Claire Nocturn Ink. This is the best back ink I have ever found and I've tried a lot. It stamps crisp and clean the first time and it dries quickly for a pigment ink. When the stamping was dry it was run through the Big Shot with the Stampin' Up Subtle Embossing Folder to add a lovely linen texture. It was matted to black cardstock and adhered to a side folding A2 cardbase.
Darice sticky back foam was cut out on the paper side using the coordinating flower die and the two were adhered together for dimension to the image by removing the backing paper. The beautiful flower spray was then adhered to the card front with liquid glue. The butterfly was adhered with a combination of liquid glue on the body and thin strips of foam on the wings.
The final embellishments were to add Nuvo Caribbean Ocean Chrystal Drops to the butterfly and Ranger Glossy Accents to the berries.
